CTAP Staff Development Workshops

CTAP Staff Development Workshops are offered in a variety of formats. Some of the workshops below are conducted as traditional face to face training while others are provided in a live online environment. Live online workshops require a DSL, cable, or local area network connection. Dial up modems do not provide sufficient bandwidth.

CTAP Live Online Staff Development Workshops are provided using our Breeze Meeting technology that enables you to participate in a live online meeting with the trainer and other participants from any computer with a sufficient Internet connection. DSL from home works fine and most school networks are able to connect to our Breeze meetings. Prior to participating in a CTAP Live workshop, participants should have basic computer and file management skills and know how to create folders, download and save files from the Web and store them on their own computers. Participants should also be able to connect speakers to their computer and adjust media settings such as volume, audio output, etc.

NOTE: Check with your district to see if professional growth hours are available for participation in CTAP live online classes.
